it kinda looked like the focus was taking his time getting up to speed and the civic was waiting for him to go, and when he didn't said fuck it i'm not waiting but was short on space. I have that happen to me all the time. if the speed limit is 45, we'll get to the merge at 35, the traffic ahead is pulling away and the other guy is like OMG there is a car beside me and instead of accelerating, he doen;t do anything and I get sick of waiting and blast past.

What do you use to edit? WMM ruins the quality of my videos on the rare chance I am able to convert them to a supported file type.

So often I find myself (while in the lane that doesn't have to yield) looking over at the merging lane to see what they're going to do.
I expect to see them slotting into the spot behind me, or ahead of me enough to slot in front. I'll use either pedal to assist their placement in the queue. Proper zipper, right?
Sometimes I look over and see that they are matching my speed, but have settled in about a half car-length behind.
WTF do you want me to do, man?

WMM. I have an older XP version at home I installed a newer version file to be able to save in HD formats. I like the older style interface over what's on my Win7 PC at work.
It degrades the quality a bit, but not too bad. I lost a bunch of videos and had to re-download them from YouTube. The quality on those went to absolute shit, but they're better than nothing.

I get that sometimes an asshole won't let you over or is driving slow or something, or the guy 5 cars ahead is fucking everything up for everyone. I don't expect every zipper merge to go perfect.
But what absolutely kills me, though, is when you drive the same route every day, see the same cars every day, and no one can figure this shit out.

You know what else scares me?
Driving down the road, approaching a cross street where a car is waiting at a stop sign to do........ something.
You do not see a signal. Could be the opposing side, on the other side of the car.
They have not looked your way yet.
You get closer

Ever since I had a Camry make a left turn on a red arrow into the front of me any my wife in our Focus I've been ever wary of intersections when people are turning left... especially if there's a car on my side of the road turning left, obscuring the oncoming turn lane.
